If he is unable to resolve your concern or answer your question you can contact the head of the football program Coach Kip Crofts. . How do I volunteer to help? Our program relies heavily on volunteers/donations. There are several ways to be involved in the MHS football program. Please join us the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7pm in the MHS cafeteria for our booster meetings. You can contact one of our officers or another booster member for more information. What is Ironman? The Ironman award is given to the athlete who does not miss any workout days during the summer. What are the passing tournament and the lineman challenge? Passing league is a 7 on 7 tournament held at Centennial HS every year. The Lineman challenge is a competition for lineman including multiple events such as 225 squat for reps, 185 bench for reps, an obstacle course, a tug a war sled drive and many others events. Your head coach can give you more information on both events. What is “intensified conditioning”? Intensified conditioning is conditioning designed to get you ready for the rigors of two-a-days where players will practice twice a day for one week in preparation for the beginning of the season. What are the academic requirements to play football? A "D" or better in each class. You must pass 6 of eight classes to be eligible to play any sport at Meridian High School. If you have an "F" in any class, you will have one week to show improvement.
